Cutbacks in Santa Clara County Funding

The Legal Services Corporation (LSC) was established by Congress in 1974 to promote equal access to justice and to provide grants for civil legal assistance to low-income Americans. In 1989, LSC provided funding to three of our local agencies. Now, it provides funding to just one, due to funding cutbacks. Help SVCLS assure that our low-income neighbors get the civil legal services they require.
